This policy explains what The Outlier Practice collects when you visit theoutlierpractice.com or contact us through it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you fill out a form. The contact form asks for your first and last name, your work email, an optional phone number and your message.
When you email or call us. Whatever you choose to send.
When you browse. Like every website, ours receives the technical details your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you to other websites.
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
How we use it
To reply to you and to send what you asked for.
To keep the site running and secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to other companies so they can contact you. We add you to an email list only if you ask to join one, and every list email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who helps us run the site
Cloudflare hosts the site and provides our visit counts. Google Workspace hosts our email and stores what you send through the contact form. Each one handles your information under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of our conversation. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email derek@theoutlierpractice.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, the law may give you more rights, and we will honor them.
Client work
This policy covers the website. Information we handle for a client firm during an engagement is governed by that engagement’s agreement.
Security
Every page on this site is served over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable care with what you send us. No way of sending information over the internet is perfectly secure.
Children
This site is for business professionals. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
